terrorist / Spelled Pronunciation [ter-er-ist]

1. a person, usually a member of a group, who uses or advocates terrorism.
2. a person who terrorizes or frightens others.
3. (formerly) a member of a political group in Russia aiming at the demoralization of the government by terror.
4. an agent or partisan of the revolutionary tribunal during the Reign of Terror in France.
5. of, pertaining to, or characteristic of terrorism or terrorists: terrorist tactics.

From these definitions we can see that an individual who commits acts of violence with intent to intimidate for political purposes or those that resist the government are considered excecuting acts of terrorism. It is also a terrifying method of governing.

"Israel determined to only permit items into Gaza that they deemed 'essential,' hundreds have since died due to a shortage of medical supplies, and not being provided with permits to reach other destinations with bettermedical provision... Israel has been increasingly turning Gaza into a concentration camp- not for Hamas- but for all Palestinians residing there, Muslims and Christians, Fatah, Hamas and politically nonaligned citizens alike. In the midst of all the political jargon many forget that Palestinians too are people, not just a collective entity called "Hamas." When Israel began bombing tunnels along the strip's Southern border Sunday, it closed a dire alternative channel- due to sealed borders during the siege- for food, clothing and petrol."Phillip Rizk - Cairo (Palestine Chronicle)

"The Israeli occupation is the source of daily violations of the human rights of Palestinians, violations arising in particular from the tightened and concentrated military control of the Palestinians territories; from the construction of a “wall”; from large-scale demolitions of private and public infrastructure. It has dire consequences for human rights, especially for the right to life of the Palestinians."Human Rights Commission 2004(Statement on Item 8: Question of the violation of human rights in the Occupied arab territories, including Palestine Written Statement by CETIM).

So, let me ask you this: Who truly defines the terrorists at this point?

Up until recently the term terrorist was vaguely used. Then, after an extremely controversial incident in which one face, a radical extremist, not even living in his own country, became the world's number one "Terrorist."Osama bin Laden and "Muslim extremists" were immediately doned terrorists from that moment... These "terrorists", which trained in a facilities that America helped build and used American money (the CIA payed Osama approximately 1 million per each of the ten years he worked with them, which may have been used as potential funding for his not-so-random-but-more-timed-perfect-with-the-media's-corrupt-perspective-of-the-world television shows, broadcasts, whatever you want to call them) to fund a "terrorist"militia and then he hijacked two planes which flew over the most protected air space on earth into two large towers on a day it was a Jewish holiday.

Eight years later they still can't find him... They still occupy Afghanistan, have moved into Iraq to prevent a genocide (Sorry, what happened in Rwanda... Oh wait, negligence, disregard happened. Even as much as allowing it to happen happened), put another face (Saddam Hussein) for the media to use, and now they are supporting the Israeli's massacre, continual oppression and occupation in Palestine. Terror is a part of Fear.Who is truly afraid? Who is truly causing the terror? Think about it, logically, simply, because this is a simply and logical situation. There are facts that can be found, information that is false and misleading, but the truth is still directly in front of us.

This was definitely a spiel, but maybe it's tiring seeing the arrogance and ignorance that so many people reside with everyday. So many people are afraid of the truth. Wake up, but open your eyes and mind, even just for a second.
