Yet our directions are limited
Promised to be given a truthful pact
Yet facts we receive are not definitive
Ignorance is bliss and Justice is blind
Death kisses and conformity kills the mind
We wish for perfection but settle for recoil
Pray for a connection yet desire societal spoil
Demand equality but are consumed by vanity
Hope for accord, yet forget the rest of humanity
What happened to family, to love and to purity
Morales are reversed, most lives in obscurity
We have replaced innocence with seduction
Culture, community and unity, enmities abduction
