Historical Terrorism Part 2

My next point is a person, Osama bin Laden. This is, literally, the face of Terrorism. One man, symbolizing an entire entity. The term terrorist has been used over the course of our history, but until 9/11, it has never had the significance that it does today, thanks to the United States of America and its media/entertainment. There are several ironic events and facts that seem to conflict with this terrorist and his terrorist acts against the United States that I would like to address.

To begin, Osama was trained and paid by the United States, specifically the CIA (Central Intelligent Agency). It was estimated that his yearly salary was $10 million. Quite the paycheck for anyone, especially if you take into consideration he comes from one of the richest and most influential families in the oil industry, which is also tied closely to the Bush family.

Osama was created by America to use as an image to illustrate fear, to taint the world's perspective on a culture and religion, and to give America reason to invade the countries that they have. I have written about Osama previously, the facts are all visible. There are logical questions that the United States avoids answering, such as; Why were they able to catch Saddam Hussein so quickly, yet they are unable to locate their biggest threat, Osama? Why would a man who was so closely tied, trained by their CIA (also, the training grounds in Afghanistan for the Al-Queda were created and funded by the U.S.), and also payed for ten years, suddenly decide to blow up two towers (and call all of the Jewish employees to not go into work, the day of the "attack") ? What was his logical motive?

The biggest problem that I have with what has happened is the outcome, the deception. Since this terrorist attack took place the United States has occupied three (Iraq, Afghanistan and Palestine through Israel) nations, all which are high in oil production, which we all know produces mass amounts of wealth for only a few people. During the occupation the death rate in Iraq has increased (they took Saddam Hussein partially because the violence he caused), and if you add Afghanistan and Palestine, hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians have died at the hands of an injust war. The worst problem the world is currently facing, especially involving deceit, is the image that media and entertainment has given towards Islam, Muslims and people who reside in the Middle East. Today, an entire religion and people have been given a false depiction, a false relation towards Terrorism, because of the apparent actions of ONE man and a few handfuls of followers. What American and the Western World has done is falsely tainted the image of what Islam truly is in order to justify their actions and properly control the situations they are attempting to handle overseas. What is logical about that? The only logical thing behind this illusive and misleading repesentation is simple: If people believe Islam and all Muslims are terrorists than they will support the War on Terror.

The only thing this war has done is caused terror on both the religion and it's followers. It has created fear amongst the Western World and allowed the United States to pursue and occupy the nations it desires. They have talked about stopping this war since it began, yet currently Obama Administration stated that they are looking at both Iran and Pakistan at being threats. The real and true threat is America, even to its own people. Look at the history, flouridated water, AIDs, Religion, Patriot Act, etc.
